Olive Oil "Edge Control" vs Creme of Nature "Perfect Edges"

Ladies I CAN NOT stress enough how important it is to maintain and tame your edges!  It does not matter if you are wearing weave of if u are rockin' the natural. But it is even more important to maintain your edges if you are wearing weave. You don't want silky hair and course edges thats a HUGE NO NO! Which brings me to this comparison, edge control or perfect edges? 

NOW everyone's edges are different, but if you are like me you have course edges that can sometimes be hard to "control". I have used both products and have come to the conclusion that Creme of Nature "Perfect Edges" WINS!!!! *throws confetti* Yes!,but let me explain why. Olive oil is more gunky & stiff and it also leaves behind a white residue something like clear gel, which is so annoying to me. Perfect edges is a light and goes onto the hair smoothly and it also last for at least a weak and a half. The Argan oil that is in prefect edges more so hydrates your edges making them appear thick and shiny.  I find that edge control only last me for a few hours, if that. Now keep in mind that I said that everyone's edges are different what works for me might not work for you,but I'm just giving my opinion from experience. 

"Who Said you Cant Keep a Sew-in In for 3 months?"

YES Ladies! I maintained this sew-in for a little over 3 months! It is very possible. When I hears women say "oh I could never keep my hair up for that long" i instantly think if you really know how to maintain & condition not only your weave, but also your leave out it is possible.  This picture was actually taken the week before I took this sew-in down to let my natural hair breath. I am currently transitioning,have been for 8 1/2 months,  which is a tough and strenuous process lol. This hair is 20,22,24 inches the curls that I created draws the hair up to all look like a 20 inch.

1) What kind of hair is that?

• The hair that I always wear and have been wearing for a little over 2 years is Virgin Brazilian Straight. Yes, I  never wear my hair "straight" it is always curled but trust me it is bone straight hair.

2) How many inches is your hair?

• I stared off wearing 22 inches, but now I "upgraded" lol to 24 inches. 

3) What shampoo/conditioner do you recommend for Brazilian hair?

• There are many products that can be used on Virgin Brazilian hair  as we all know, but from personal experience Herbal Essence "Hello Hydration" is the best product for Brazilian hair. It actually hydrates the hair and gives it a smooth texture that last until the next wash.
